Foam filled fenders use lightweight and highly elastic EVA foam as a cushioning medium, which is a better floating fender than inflatable pneumatic fenders.
Why use foam filled fender?
Now more and more docks and shipyards are beginning to use foam filled fenders, because this kind of fender is really suitable as a dock buffer. There is no need to purchase an inflator separately, and there is no need to worry about air leakage after accidentally being stuck. Basically no extra maintenance is needed. As long as it is used properly, the floating foam filled fender can even be used for more than 20 years. Because of its safety, many naval ships of many countries also use it for berthing.
· Should be applied at tugs, work-boats, pilot ships, high seas docks gravity pier dock, especially dock with large tide scope.
· Applied in naval special warship berthing to provide safety.
·The very large floating fender can increase the berthing depth to upgrade the dock.

Foam Filled Fender Structure
Inner layer: Filled with Closed-cell EVA foam plastics core to absorb elastic energy, which never sink;
Middle layer: Outer rubber and high strength polyamide cord fabric are adopted to better seal the inner EVA foam;
Outer layer: Spraying with adjustable new polyurea elastic maerial, the polyurea coating is permanent and that protect the outer layer of fender from chemical corrosion resistance.
Ends: Equipped with galvanized flange, swivel and can add a protective layer consist of chain and tire net;
Tyre net sheath: Receiving special treatment, the tyres all have the advantages of firmness, durability and a beautiful surface, which can extend the fender's service life.
